Yes, Don't copy content because if you do it then you will penalize by Google. And if you use unique content then it increase the value of your website.

After panda most of site owner create fresh and quality content because panda loves fresh and quality content. If you have this kind of content, you are able to get more cache from Google.

Keep your content unique and un-spun. Spend the money on a copywriter. It's well worth the money. When the updates roll out you shouldn't have to sweat.
